How do escalators work?
Escalators are a pair of revolving chain loops that pull a line of steps consistently. It moves people faster and it also normally brings them to a different level.
There are four main clogs in this daily machine. Two move the handrail while the other two move the chain of steps at the same speed. The steps fold in and out as the go around and around the rails repeatedly. |
